Rescue Mission Ministries
The Rescue Mission is a Christ centered organization where the
homeless, the hungry, the sick, the addicted, the abused all find a warm welcome. There are many ways to volunteer at the Rescue Mission. You may serve in the kitchen, thrift store, transportation, children’s chapel, medical, and many opportunities.
Children are going hungry right here in Roanoke, Virginia. We can do something to help. New Hope Christian Church has decided to partner with Clearbrook Elementary School and Garden City Elementary School to help feed children who are hungry. Through serving, resources, and prayer we will show God's love by helping to meet the physical needs these children have.
Ways you can Help:
Pray for this ministry, the children and families.
Serve by packing sacks (Wednesday nights from 6:30-6:45 pm in the Fellowship Hall following dinner)
Share resources of food (Add 1 item to your grocery list)

Items should be single serve items and individually wrapped.
As the leader in hunger relief in this region, FASWVA distributes more than 20 million pounds of food annually to nearly 400 partner agency soup kitchens, rescue missions and food pantries. Volunteers sort food to be sent to the hungry.
New Hope LifeGroups and individuals often serve the community through these partners and more. Connect with a group or contact these community partners directly. Refugee Resettlement, Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Matthews Child, etc.
Blue Ridge Women's Center
The Blue Ridge Women's Center exists to improve the well-being of women and their families in the Blue Ridge area facing an unplanned pregnancy, relationship concerns, and reproductive health issues. We provide all of our services FREE OF CHARGE!
