About Us

F A Q s

What should I wear when I come to church?

  • Something comfortable.

  • Are there things for kids on Sunday morning?

  • Absolutely! Please click on the children and/or students tabs at the top of the page for more details.

  • What are the services like?

  • Our services are about an hour long.
  • The music style is best described as contemporary.
  • We will also pray together, collect an offering (guests shouldn't feel obligated to give), take communion, and hear a message that helps us apply what we learn from God's Word, the Bible.

  • What is communion like?

  • Communion is for all believers.
  • During communion, a plate with small crackers and a tray with small cups of juice are passed around. If you choose to participate, remember that the bread reminds us of the body of Jesus and the juice reminds us of His blood. Jesus gave these up for us when He died on the cross.
  • You are welcome to take the bread and juice when you are ready. After you are done, you may replace the empty cup back into the tray. Or if you hold onto it, you may place it in the place provided in the bench in front of you.

  • What kind of church is New Hope?

  • New Hope is an independent, non-denominational church affiliated with the Christian churches/Churches of Christ. We strive to make growing disciples of Jesus Christ by being a church that is real, relevant, and relational. We also have a global reach - supporting missions around the world.

  • Is New Hope dull and boring?

  • You are just going to have to come and see for yourself!
